Humans have created art for as long as we’ve existed. I’ve found that creating things, whether they are good or bad, whether I am good or bad at them, whether they ever see the light of day, is one of the best ways to reduce my pain levels.
I guess the part of my brain that focuses on pain is tuned out when I am creating. So I am prolific.
