Now I'm struggle to redefine my life to fit within my reduced energy level. Some days are better than others. I have fibromyalgia, trigeminal neuralgia, and chronic daily migraine.

to the least of you
those whose hearts bleed
louder than the rest of you
Can you call yourself a child
of He who gave himself for all of us?

If your ears are deaf to
the sounds of need
because the mouths
that scream sound foreign
Can you call yourself a child
of He who loves each of us?

If you can watch suffering
with eyes untouched by blindness
and call it good
because the sufferers
don’t share your pronouns
Can you call yourself a Christian?

Or are you a traitor to the teachings of your faith?
