Water. I mourned leaving it behind in the East, moving from the shore to a land locked state. Then I found it again, flowing through the center of the mountains like an artery. Powerful, alive, essential.

This week I went bee hunting with my kids. We caught some interesting insect activities on camera and have enjoyed them immensely. I hope you enjoy them as well. (By the way, it’s a little unnerving to have a bunch of bees fly at you when you are looking at them through a telephoto lens, I had a hard time not backing up!)
