I forgot the day
of my poetic posting
in job hunt fervor.
Better late than none
a verse or two to share with
my haiku buddies.
Baby snuggled close
snoring puffs of hot sweet breath
over my shoulder.
Motherhood rewards
me with delicate moments
spun like spiderwebs.
Catch them when you can
the magic minutes finding
calm between the storms.
