Happy birthday to me,
I live in a menagerie,
I’m surrounded by monkeys,
but they’re cute and snuggly.

Yes, it’s that time again, time to reflect on the past year, re-evaluate my life, shape my goals and ambitions to the changes that have occurred over the past year.

Who am I kidding? I am not going to sit around on my birthday reflecting! I am going to drink coffee and watch ER while snuggling my baby on the couch!!! I will save reflecting for 33, I hear 33 is a good year for reflection.

  1. I don’t think you are allowed to reflect at 32, not close enough to 40 yet!

    Happy birthday, kiddo!

    And many mooooore!

  2. Hugs and huzzahs for the cat, Catt. You’ve been a joy for most of those 32 years (okay, there were a few, uh, challenging months here and there), and should spend the day reflecting on how many people think you’re the coolest. (Lots. I counted.)

  3. Happy Birthday!!!
Hope it’s fantastic ~ sounds like it’s off to a good start, that’s for sure! 🙂

  4. Your rotten aunt saw how traumatized I was by turning 30. She waited four months AFTER my 33rd birthday, then called up and burbled”
    “Happy 33 and a third”
    “33 and a third?” I asked.
“You’re a third of a century old today!”
I always thought it should be an affirmative defense for manslaughter if the victim is a member of your immediate family, but so far the damn liberal courts won’t go along.
