  1. You have an April Ninether, too? 🙂 I was due on April 8 (Easter), went into labor that night and had The Baby 25 hours later on April 9. (the first part of labor was long for me, 25 hours sounds so much worse than it was!)

It’s nice having Easter as a reference point to celebrate a “deliveraversary.” Even though it falls at different times of the year, the birth of The Baby will always be connected to Easter.

  2. I love little girls! (:

My daughter and I are best friends now, too, but I know as she eeks closer to teenagedom that that will change for a while.

If only they could stay little…):

  3. I know!! I wish this period would last forever, but if I am lucky, she will come back around to be good friends with me as an adult, after the tumult of her teenage years.

  4. Those kinds of things are the best! When my two year old daughter starting saying “I Love You” I got teary eyed every time she said it for like a week straight. I hope both of my girls will come to me and say that I am their best friend!

  5. i LOVE that.

my daughter says the same thing to me, and even though i know it is not true (she’s 13, come ON!!!), i love that she can say that.
